Detroit seemed on their way to victory leading 20-13 late in the fourth quarter but New York scored a defense touchdown to tie the game, and kicked a game winning field goal on their second possession of overtime. The Lions final five chances with the ball ended with four punts and a defensive score. New York was limited to just 41 yards on the ground on 21 carries while the Lions scampered for 148 yards. The teams combined for five turnovers.

NBA Offseason Grades – Southeast Division

It’s been a busy summer for teams in the East’s Southeast Division.  Miami lost LeBron James, which automatically made for a bad summer, but did recuperate pretty nicely.  Charlotte is slowly becoming a very good team.  Washington was busy in free agency but will still rely on guards John Wall and Bradley Beal.  Orlando remains on the rebuilding path.  And finally, the Atlanta Hawks made some small but solid moves this summer.  Let’s take a closer look at each team’s offseason:

New York Jets 2014 NFL Betting Preview

Rex Ryan begins his sixth season as Jets coach, a milestone that seemed unlikely both at the start of last season and 12 games into it. After going 28-20 and making the playoffs twice in his first three years, New York was just 6-10 in 2012. Most thought 2013 was a make or break year for Ryan and when the team was 5-7 it appeared the coach’s days were numbered.
