Ever since sports betting was launched in 2021, only to be shut down soon after via the decision of a U.S. District Judge, it’s looking like things at the Hard Rock Cafe will be returning sooner than anticipated. That’s right, a new report has suggested that Florida sports betting could arrive as early as next week for fans. Again, this is sensational.

Per that same report, Sept. 19 is the new target date for the online launch to be brought back to life, which would mean that people all over Florida would be able to get in their wagers for Week 3 of the NFL season. After an incredible first week of action, people are fired up to check the NFL betting odds for Week 2. There are some fantastic games on the way, but no legal bets in the Sunshine State will be permitted.

However, if things are able to get across the line next Wednesday as expected, then you better believe that people will be rushing to get their NFL wagers in. All three of the major teams in the team were victorious in Week 1, with the Jaguars beating the Colts, the Bucs stunning the Vikings and the Dolphins winning a thriller over the Chargers. You already know people can’t wait to place money down on these teams.

We are yet to receive official word about the Sept. 19 date, but things appear to be trending in that direction. The main worry for people is that the owners of the Magic City Casino, the main people behind blocking Florida sports betting, will take legal action to keep things from getting going. We should find out in the next few days if they indeed return to the courts to try and block the launch, but there’s plenty of optimism in the state right now that legal options will be coming soon.

With this, the tribe took full control of sports betting in the state, with Florida getting billions of dollars guaranteed in return. This had people incredibly excited.

However, things went up in flames in the fall of 2021 with legal online betting being shut down. From that point, this has been nearly a two-year battle in the courts to try and get the decision turned around. This has been a nightmare for DeSantis and the good people of Florida as a whole. However, amazing news sure looks like it’s going to be coming sooner than later.

This has been a top priority for DeSantis and the tribes for a while now. There are in fact billions of dollars at stake. With Florida being one of the biggest and most popular states when it comes to sports, it has made zero sense that sports betting hasn’t been allowed. That’s why DeSantis has been so passionate in his push to finally get things done.

The whole legal process has been a daunting one, but for DeSantis, there appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel here. There are still some things that will need to be finalized and everyone will be waiting in pins and needles to see if the plaintiffs decide to block things or not. However, from our chair, we’re confident in predicting that Sept. 19 will result in the re-launch.

Right now, there’s a ton of buzz surrounding the Miami Hurricanes, Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles. Historically, these teams are always impressive and that will surely be the case this year too.

It’s been a stretch of rough football for Miami in recent years, but people feel like ‘The U’ is finally back. They’re off to a strong start this season, which has led to a lot of people checking the NCAAF betting odds to see where they stand in recent weeks.
