The first major of the 2024 Rocket League Championship Series, Major 1, will occur between March 28 and March 31, 2024, at K.B. Hallen Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event features the best 16 of the best Rocket League teams from around the world. At this event, $255,000 in prize money and RLCS points are up for grabs.
RLCS 2024 marks the 13th season of the Rocket League Championship Series. Last year, Team Vitality took home the 2022-23 RLCS World Championship, winning $600,000. Team BDS finished in the runner-up spot and took home $400,000.

Karmine Corp
Karmine Corp is the betting favorite to win the Rocket League Championship Series 2024 – Major 1 event. The team comes into this year with one of the best Rocket League players in the world in Vatira, who joined the team in 2022. Also on the squad is rise, who joined Karmine Corp in late 2023. Vatira and rise were both played for Moist in 2022, winning the Spring Major that year. Another player to watch this year for Karmine Corp is atow, who also came aboard in late 2023, joining the roster after Team Liquid disbanded.
Karmine Corp, which plays out of Europe, placed first at the RLCS 2022-23 Winter Major, followed that with a third-place finish in the Spring Major and a 3rd-4th place finish at the 2022-23 World Championship.
Team Vitality
If there’s a team with a target on its back heading into the 2024 Rocket League season, it is Team Vitality. The French squad is the reigning RLCS world champions, and they also took home first place in the last Major of 2023. The team has three of the best Rocket League players in the world: Alpha54, Radosin, and zen, who have been playing together as a team since 2022.
In addition to winning the RLCS 2022-23 World Championship and the Spring Major, Team Vitality placed 5th-8th in the Winter Major.
Team Vitality did not win any of the three EU qualifiers for Major 1. They lost to Karmine Corp at Open Qualifier 2 and Open Qualifier 3.
G2 Stride
G2 Stride has a different roster from the team that won the 2022 Winter Major and finished in second place at the 2022 World Championship. Joining Atomic on the team are Daniel and BeastMode, who both came aboard in December 2023, joined G2 from Version1. With its former roster, G2 Stride finished 5th-8th in the 2022-23 Winter Major and placed 5th-8th in the 2022-23 World Championship.
G2 Stride won the first two North American qualifiers for Rocket League Championship 2024 Major 1, and placed second in the third event, losing to Gen.G, who they defeated in the first qualifier.
