The NBA trade deadline looms (Thursday, Feb. 19 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern), which means teams are scrambling to either upgrade their roster for a playoff run or rid themselves of assets as they look towards a higher lottery pick. (Amar’e Stoudemire is already in a Dallas uniform, but that wasn’t via trade, per se.)
Despite rampant rumors swirling about the Association, there is a decent chance that this will be a quiet deadline. The main reason? A lot of the sellers’ needs don’t match up well with those of the buyers.
That said, a few teams seem eager to make a move and a couple players (like Goran Dragic, pictured) are prime targets to be wearing new colors.
Below, we set the odds on which teams are the most likely to make a trade – or trades – before the deadline, and the chances of certain much-rumored players to be on the move to a new Zip Code.
