“You need to learn how it’s done first, and I can teach you here,” Bryant told Howard during the Lakers’ presentation, witnesses in the room described to Yahoo! Sports.
“You have to learn how it’s done,” Bryant told Howard. “I know how to do it, and I’ve learned from the best – players who have won multiple times over and over. Instead of trying to do things your way, just listen and learn and tweak it, so it fits you,” Bryant finished.
These quotes could easily mean Howard will sign with the Rockets, who are the favorites in the odds win this ‘beauty contest’. The center always wants to be pampered and love without having the responsibility of big star if something fails; with Kobe’s words Howard might feel like he’s not wanted.
The Lakers has made the impossible to pursuit Dwight Howard, but he’s playing this ‘soap opera’ for the third straight summer and is getting boring, at least Kobe Bryant feels that way.
The most recent odds have the Rockets +140 in the moneyline to get Howard; the Lakers are +180, the Mavs +300, the Atlanta Hawks +950 and the Warriors are a longshot +1000.
