- Oddsmakers have Giants vs Seahawks listed as a pick’em in Week 4 of the NFL season
- New York and Seattle’s defenses both rank bottom-four in points allowed this year
- Monday Night Football on ESPN kicks off from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ at 8:15 pm ET
Having already been blown out in prime time twice this season, the Giants (1-2) will be on our TVs yet again this week. New York is facing a Seahawks (2-1) team coming off consecutive wins against the Lions and Panthers.
Will Daniel Jones and the struggling G-Men be able to take advantage of a Seattle defense that’s allowing over 400 yards of offense per game? Before we check the odds on Monday Night Football and make our picks, here’s where you can find the best Super Bowl betting tips and the top betting sites for NFL football in 2023.

Another bad Pete Carroll defense
Despite his reputation as a defensive guru who led “the Legion of Boom” to a Super Bowl, Pete Carroll has presided over some of the worst defenses in the NFL over the past five seasons. Through three weeks, Seattle is allowing 407.3 yards of total offense and 29.3 points per game. Last week, they allowed Panthers back-up quarterback, Andy Dalton, to carve them up for 361 yards and two touchdowns.
This should come as welcome news to Daniel Jones, who has already being embarrassed by the Cowboys and 49ers in prime time this year. Jones passed for only 137 yards with no TDs and an interception in last Thursday’s 30-12 loss to San Francisco.

Geno Smith has been steady
It was fair to wonder if Geno Smith would fall back to earth following his remarkable football rebirth in 2022, but the 32-year-old has been solid so far. Playing behind a beat-up offensive line, Geno has 736 passing yards, 4 TDs and an INT in three games.
The Seahawks relied on their running game in Sunday’s 37-27 victory over Carolina. Sophomore back Kenneth Walker rushed for 97 yards with two scores with an additional 59 yards through the air. DK Metcalf was also his dynamic self, making six receptions for 112 yards.
New York vs Seattle
Giants vs Seahawks is listed as a pick’em and the over/under is set at 47 points. Given that both teams’ defenses rank bottom-four in points allowed and bottom-ten in yards allowed, the OVER is a strong bet. Neither Seattle or the G-Men are generating any pressure on quarterbacks with sack-rates that rank among the worst in the NFL.
While Big Blue suffered a 40-0 defeat to the Cowboys in week 1 and a 30-12 loss to the 49ers in week 3, they put up 31 points in a week 2 win over the Cardinals. Now facing sub-par competition, Brian Daboll’s boys will find creative ways to score on Monday night.

Best Bet
Seattle has looked like the far better team to this point, but they have played much weaker competition than the Giants. Playing at home on 10 days rest, we’ll take New York to improve to 2-2 with a week 4 win over the Seahawks.
