BetRivers is a gaming site and mobile app owned and operated by the Chicago-based company, Rush Street Interactive. Since launching the BetRivers sportsbook, Rush Street Interactive has consistently pushed to establish an early presence in new markets. For example, BetRivers was the very first online sportsbook to go live in Illinois, and it has also been among the first wave of operators in several other states once regulators approved online betting.
With that said, BetRivers’ entry into the United States’ legal sports betting market has not been seamless. In recent years, Rush Street Interactive’s stock has seen sharp swings. For 2025, the company is projecting revenues of more than $850 million—strong growth compared to earlier years, but still trailing behind some of its largest competitors in the space.
Industry experts BetRivers to start attempting to expand their footprint in North American sports betting as a result. Currently, BetRivers is offered in roughly half the states that legalized sports betting, so there’s room for growth. They have also started signing more partnerships with bigger-market teams, including the Chicago Bears of the NFL, in hopes of getting their name out to a wider audience.

BetRivers Sportsbook Features
Compared to many of the other best online sportsbooks, we found BetRivers to have a better than reasonable selection of betting lines. They lean heavily into United States betting markets, but they also do a pretty comprehensive job of providing futures for international leagues—especially when it comes to the English Premier League and Champions League. They have also developed a reputation as one of the better North American betting sites for the FIFA World Cup, which is sure to be a popular market ahead of next year’s tournament.

BetRivers has done a very clear and concise job on their desktop sportsbook betting site. The blue, white and black color screen works really well, and they provide updates in a bright green to live betting odds, which makes it easier to track.
Scrolling through the different sports and events is mostly a breeze. However, the order of operations to reach special lines can get a little lengthy.
The most unique feature of the BetRivers desktop sportsbook is the newsfeed located on the right side of your screen. It provides a running list of wagers just submitted that use juiced odds. This clearly isn’t meant to be instructional, but it’s no doubt useful if you’re looking to see what events are getting frequent play.
BetRivers Mobile Betting
When you look at the best USA mobile betting options, you tend to find a bunch of operators that dramatically alter and optimize their apps over their desktop sites. The BetRivers mobile betting app, on the other hand, opts for continuity.
The color scheme, user interface and order of operations is virtually identical to the desktop. The only notable difference is the absence of the newsfeed we spoke about earlier.
