The final card of the 2023 PFL Europe season takes place on Friday, December 8, from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. Frans Mlambo (15-5-0) made his way to the PFL Europe title fight with two decision wins this season. He defeated Rachid Haz at PFL Europe 2 and Moktar Benkaci at PFL Europe 3. The 32-year-old, who fights out of SBG Ireland, is on a seven-fight winning streak, and he is 10-1 dating back to late 2018.
Khurshed Kakhorov (11-1) earned his bantamweight title fight with two decision wins. The 31-year-old fights out of Xtreme Couture, topped Moktar Benkaci at PFL Europe 2 and Ali Taleb at PFL Europe 3. His only loss is to former UFC fighter Brett Johns under the Bellator banner in 2022.
Mlambo is a calm and confident fighter who employs a lot of speed and movement. He is a slick striker with good defensive skills, who is unafraid to tangle with his foes on the mat. If he has a weakness, it is his takedown defense and defensive grappling.
Kakhorov is a hard-nosed striker who throws all his strikes with maximum power. His striking defense can sometimes lapse, but he recovers quickly and never backs down. He is especially effective with his kicks, which he can target to any part of the body.
