NBA Playoffs Game 5 Odds- Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers needs to shake all the negative vibes surrounding them over the last days and start playing some ball, or they will be packing their stuff to go home.  The Warriors await for them as a hungry opponent at the Staples Center, this Tuesday at 10:30 PM ET.
steph_curry_warriors_clippersThe Los Angeles Clippers needs to shake all the negative vibes surrounding them over the last days and start playing some ball, or they will be packing their stuff to go home.  The Warriors await for them as a hungry opponent at the Staples Center, this Tuesday at 10:30 PM ET.

The series is 2-2 after the blow out win by Golden State 118-97 in game four. However, after Donald Sterling racist comments, the momentum look to have swung to the Warriors side.

“I was asked, do I need to talk with Donald, and I passed, quite honestly,” coach Doc Rivers said Monday. “I don’t think right now is the time or the place, for me, at least. I just took a pass.”

“Yeah, I believe he said those things. But I still want to make sure,” Rivers said during a conference call. “As far as believing those things? I heard what he said. Until someone tells me differently, you usually listen to what people say. I haven’t given him his due process. I haven’t given him an opportunity to explain himself and quite honestly right now I don’t want him to. I want to wait for that further judgment.”

The Warriors have the upper hand because they are not thinking in the extra basketball stuff; they are thinking in game 5 and game 5 only.

“What other players are going through `Should I be playing’ thoughts in the middle of a playoff series? I sympathize for my players. They didn’t sign on for this. Yet here they are and they’re in the middle of it and they have to deal with it. They didn’t do anything wrong and they’re in the middle of it, and they didn’t ask to be. I feel terrible for them. I’m going to try to do whatever I can to make them OK,” Rivers added.

The Clippers are 6 point favorites in the spread, but they don’t look ready.  The game total is at 211.
