In order for the AL East side to have a chance in this one, then both Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton are going to need to live up to their massive contracts. Luckily for the Yankees, Stanton has been playing better over the last month, while Judge is back to full health following his toe injury. These two have incredible power with a bat in their hands, so the Atlanta hurlers will need to be careful when they’re up.

When taking a close look at these two organizations, the over should hit in the Yankees vs. Braves battle on Wednesday. These are two of the best offensive clubs in the bigs, so we expect plenty of runs to be scored. With the Yankees, it indeed is fantastic news that both Stanton and Judge are playing at a high level. Judge being close to 100 percent is just what this team needs at this point in the summer.
The only issue for New York is that the rest of the lineup has been quite inconsistent. Gleyber Torres can’t stop letting people down. Sure, there have been times when the infielder has come through in the clutch for this team, but there have been far too many times when Torres hasn’t been able to come up with a strong showing for his squad. In order for the Yankees to have a chance throughout the series, Torres needs to step up.
The Mets on the other hand are known for putting up a lot of hits and runs on the scoreboard. That was showcased in a major way this past Saturday, with Atlanta taking down the Mets 21-3. That’s not a typo – in a single game, Atlanta was able to score 21 runs, which is out of this world. Ozzie Albies led the way with six RBI, while Matt Olson pitched in with four. The Yankees are going to have a tough time trying to keep that lineup in check.

Per the oddsmakers, the over/under has been set at 7.5 wins. Normally that might be a bit high, but don’t forget that this is Atlanta and New York that we’re talking about here. There’s so much home-run potential for both squads whenever they take the field. Because of this, we are fully confident that the over will hit for the finale.
