The Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers face off for the fourth time in the 2022 NBA season. Philadelphia has wins in the three previous meetings (103-98, 114-105, and 119-108). Two of those games took place in Chicago and one in Philly. The clubs are back in the City of Brotherly Love for the fourth meeting.

The 76ers are the No. 2 team in the Eastern Conference, while the Bulls sit in the No. 4 spot. Chicago enters this contest on a four-game losing skid, while Philadelphia saw its five-game winning streak end on Saturday with a 99-82 loss to Miami.

It’s hard to pick against the 76ers in this game because of the success they have had against the Bulls this season as well as the fact that Joel Embiid is having an MVP-type season for the team. Embiid is the current NBA scoring leader with 29.5 points per game. He also leads the 76ers in rebounds (11.2) and blocks (1.4) while averaging 33.1 minutes per game. With that being said, Demar DeRozan has been the force driving the Bulls with an average of 28.1 points per game this season. He too is a possible MVP candidate.

In the end, the 76ers are the better team right now and they are the pick to win.

Pick: Philadelphia to beat Chicago.

Utah vs. Dallas

  • Date & Location: Monday, March 7 at American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas
  • Time: 8:30 p.m. ET
  • How to Watch: Bally Sports North, ROOT Sports, NBA League Pass

On Monday, the Utah Jazz and Dallas Mavericks meet for the third time in the 2022 NBA season. The Jazz holds a 2-0 lead over the Mavericks in the season series, beating Dallas by scores of 120-116 and 114-109. Both of those games were home affairs for Utah.

The Jazz is the No. 4 team in the Western Conference as of this writing (39-23) and are 8-2 in their past 10 outings. Dallas is the No. 5 team in the West (39-25) and has an 8-2 record in their past 10 games. They are riding a four-game winning streak into this matchup.

The Mavericks were without leading scorer Luka Doncic on Saturday when the team beat Sacramento 114-113. Doncic has a sprained toe and is not expected to miss a significant amount of time because of the injury. Dallas used a team approach to get past the Kings, but the Kings are not nearly as good as the Jazz and if Doncic is out of action against Utah, his presence will be missed.

Donovan Mitchell has been red-hot for the Utah Jazz. The team’s leading scorer has averaged more than 27 points per game over his last 10 outings. Mitchell has put up over 30 points in five of his past 10 games for the Jazz. The Mavericks are going to have a difficult time stopping him from getting his points.

With or without Doncic, I think Utah wins this one.

Pick: Utah to beat Dallas.

Golden State vs. Denver

  • Date & Location: Monday, March 7 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado
  • Time: 9:00 p.m. ET
  • How to Watch: Altitude, NBC Sports Bay Area, NBA TV
Golden State WarriorsTBATBATBATBATBA

The Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets have their third meeting of the 2022 NBA season on Monday. Denver triumphed in the first two matchups between these clubs, downing the Warriors 89-86 and 117-116. Both of those games took place in San Francisco. The third meeting between the Warriors, who are the No. 3 team in the Western Conference and the Nuggets, who check in at No. 6, takes place in Denver.

Golden State is slumping. The team is 2-8 in its last 10 games and enters the Nuggets game on a four-game losing skid. Which is their longest run of consecutive losses this season. Don’t expect Golden State to end their losing skid on Monday night. Following the team’s 124-116 loss to the struggling Los Angeles Lakers, Warriors coach Steve Kerr announced that three of the team’s best players, Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and Klay Thompson, would not be making the trip with the team to Denver. The trio is staying in San Francisco to rest.

While Golden State is sliding, Denver is rising. As of this writing, the Nuggets are 8-2 in their past 10 games. They had a season-high six-game winning streak end on Wednesday. The Nuggets were without top scorer Nikola Jokic for Friday’s win over the Houston Rockets. Jokic is expected to play on Monday against Golden State.

With a full roster available to them, expect Denver to defeat Golden State.

Pick: Denver to beat Golden State.
