NBA Friday – Phoenix Suns vs San Antonio Spurs

The Phoenix Suns cannot afford to lose any of their last four games in the schedule, including their meeting to the AT&T Center this Friday, where they will take on the San Antonio Spurs at 8:30 PM ET.

suns_spursThe Suns are one game above Dallas and Memphis in the Western Conference standings, but they will face the Mavericks on Saturday.  Phoenix beat the New Orleans Pelicans in their last outing.

“My teammates did a good job of keeping me in the game,” Suns Eric Bledsoe described the encounter against Phoenix. “The first half I didn’t think I was helping them out. The third (quarter), I just wanted to have that sense of urgency to come out and be all over the place.”

The San Antonio Spurs beat the Mavs on Thursday night; a victory over the Suns will clinch the first spot in the conference by beating the Suns.

“Whether I start or come off the bench, there’s a mentality,” said Patty Mills, who scored 26 points in the game at Dallas on Thursday. “Shooting shots is the same.”

The Spurs are 3.5 point favorites in the NBA betting odds for this matchup. The game total was set at 206 points.

Phoenix is 1-6 SU in its last seven games when playing on the road against San Antonio, and 2-3-1 ATS in its last six games when playing on the road against San Antonio.  Consider the total went OVER in 14 of San Antonio’s last 21 games when playing Phoenix.
