The last time the Boston Celtics visited the American Airlines Arena they beat the Miami Heat at the buzzer. Boston and Miami clash this Tuesday at 7:30 PM ET.
Boston will take the outcome of that came in November in a heartbeat. The Celtics are 14-28 with 11 losses in their last 12 games; their most recent against the Orlando Magic 93-91.
“This is no fun for me at all, that’s the bottom line,” Boston coach Brad Stevens said. “I’d like to see us get better and win some of these, but we haven’t, so we need to move on and try to do it the next time.”
Miami, on the other hand, has won two straight after losing three in a row last week; their most recent win came in overtime against the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday night.
“The game presented itself for me to be aggressive, and I was able to shoot a lot. It felt, well… that’s why I’m icing my shoulder now,” Lebron James said. “I came out shooting the ball extremely well and then I just hit a cold streak,” James added. “My teammates kept confidence in me, and I was able to get it going again.”
The Celtics have covered the spread over the last four games against the Heat; also, the last six meetings between these two have gone OVER the game total.
Miami is an 11.5 point favorite in the NBA betting spread for this one. The total is at 201.
