However, TPC Southward saw Rory McIlroy pile up enough points along with the other two courses to win the playoffs. The thought process is that Scheffler will be more of a factor at the BMW Championship. Again, we will get to the Tour Championship at a later time. For this tournament, the New Jersey native might have a few problems getting going initially.
Scheffler is not a contending pick though despite his favorite status. A scenario playing out involves him struggling to even stay around the top ten this weekend. Again this rationale is not off base. Some debate that it is impossible to predict a winner in this type of field is valid. However, one has to take different shots when almost all of them would be otherwise on the top contenders. Harman has the strokes gained game down pat this season and has been putting better again. He is worth a pick for winner and even a top-10 (+320).
