The Heisman Trophy hype may burn more fierce for one of these quarterbacks after Saturday. Last year. Pennix Jr. eventually faded late as the Washington defense could not hold up their end of the bargain. Oregon faded after a few too many mistakes from Nix late in games. Again, this Is another clash where it’s not the last touchdown that wins, but who avoid making the final err worst miscue.
Bovada offers a first-half prop here as well for this Saturday afternoon slugfest. This may feel odd but the 31.5 seems a little low here. A loss does not kill them completely and the Ducks do have to play potentially four more top-20 opponents. If Oregon gets through this gauntlet, they deserve a playoff spot without any shadow of a doubt.
Again for Oregon, we like the potential of the spread sliding to 2.5 points. Furthermore, we believe that the Ducks can win this game outright on the road. It will not be easy, but again, the Ducks have to understand the Washington defense will give up points. Keep the game close and hope Washington makes the fatal error for a change. If the Huskies do, Nix and the Ducks will indeed get their revenge.
More Saturday Numbers To Kick Around
