The Heisman Trophy hype does not make its way to any defenders, but that Utes defense was stout when it had to be last week. Can the offense score enough points on the road? That is an unknown. Now, Oregon State will score some points, but they may give up some too. Then again, we say that every week and Utah finds a way to hang around while not racking up points. It’s crazy and until Cameron Rising takes back the reins, that is the reality of the Utes.
Utah despite being undefeated started as a three-point underdog on the road Friday night. This may feel odd but do not shop around. Either wait for the moneyline to fan out to 3.5. Again for Oregon State, they need a better game to keep the crowd involved. Utah can take the air out of teams and this is a game where points are going to need to be scored early. The longer Utah keeps the contest low-scoring, the more it favors the Utes. If the Beavers can establish their offense, that paves the way for the rushing game to maybe wear Utah down late. Simply, it boils down to what did Oregon State learn last week. Friday is another big test.
Freaky Friday Numbers
