Buffalo blasts Miami

Josh Allen passed for 320 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-20 annihilation of the AFC East rival Dolphins in week 4, adding on a rushing score for good measure. In what was one of the finest performances of the 28-year-old’s career, Allen had more TDs (five) than incompletions (four) and connected with Stefon Diggs for 120 yards and three scores.

The Bills defense also shut down an offense fresh off a 70-point performance, delivering four sacks and nine quarterback hits on Tua Tagovailoa while holding Miami to just 20 points.

Jags get back on track

Coming off a 37-17 blowout loss to the division-rival Texans, Jacksonville righted the ship in London on Sunday. Trevor Lawrence threw for 207 yards and a TD with no picks and 42 rushing yards in an easy 23-7 win over Atlanta.

Their defense also had their way with sophomore QB Desmond Ridder, taking one of two interceptions to the house. The Jaguars also have a Josh Allen of their own – he registered three sacks and two tackles for loss in the week 4 victory.

Buffalo vs Jacksonville

Buffalo is a 5.5-point favorite in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and the game’s over-under is set at a robust 48 points. While Sean McDermott’s club is officially the home team, this will be the Jaguars’ 11th game in London so they should have the crowd in their favor.

While the two clubs didn’t face each other last season, the Jaguars upset Buffalo 9-6 in 2021. The Jaguars’ outside linebacker won the battle of the Josh Allen’s, with a sack and an interception in the win.

Bills lose their top corner

Somewhat lost in Sunday’s blowout of the Dolphins was the injury to Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White, who ruptured his Achilles just a year after tearing his ACL.

That could leave Calvin Ridley with more space to operate following a low volume (2-38-1) performance in week 4. To have a chance on Sunday, Travis Etienne will also have to be much more efficient. He’s averaging 3.8 yards per carry this season after Atlanta held him to 55 yards on 20 totes.

Best Bet

Jacksonville’s D could be left in a state of shell-shock after matching up with Josh Allen just one week after facing Desmond Ridder. Then again, Doug Pederson’s club has the advantage of chilling in London for the full week while their opponents travel overseas.

We’re banking on Buffalo to have a letdown following their destruction of the Dolphins. While the Bills will win, we like the Jaguars to cover the +5.5 points with the UNDER 48.
