Baltimore Ravens to ring Tennessee Titans’ bell in London in week 6

  • Baltimore (3-2) is a 3.5-point favorite over Tennessee (2-3) in the third NFL International Game of the season
  • Lamar Jackson committed two second-half turnovers in the Ravens’ division loss to Pittsburgh in week 5
  • Sunday’s Week 6 contest kicks off from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England at 9:30am ET

Mike Vrabel and John Harbaugh must have different travel agents. While the Ravens flew across the pond on Monday, the Titans won’t touchdown in the U.K. until Thursday. With Tennessee and Baltimore coming off week 5 losses, Sunday morning’s matchup looms large for both clubs.

Before we check the odds on the final London game of the season, here’s where you can find the best Super Bowl betting tips and the top betting sites for NFL football in 2023.

Baltimore blows it

Baltimore is coming off a 17-10 loss to the Steelers in which they dropped a handful of passes and turned the ball over three times. After being picked off by Joey Porter Jr. late in the fourth quarter, Lamar Jackson fumbled on the game’s penultimate drive. He took three sacks in the second half and gained only one fourth quarter first down as their AFC North division rivals rallied to a comeback win.

In his last trip overseas in 2017, John Harbaugh witnessed his team get clobbered by Jacksonville 44-7. It stands as the second-largest margin of defeat (37 points) in NFL international game history. With the blowout loss still fresh in his mind, Harbaugh decided to fly the Ravens out on Monday. That’s the earliest a team has traveled for an international game this year.

Titans get torched

After holding ten-straight opponents to under 100 rushing yards, the Titans allowed the Colts to rumble for 193 yards in a 23-16 week 5 loss. Tennessee has dropped all three of their road games this season – and while they’re technically the home team this Sunday, they’re playing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Playing like one of the worst starters in the NFL, Ryan Tannehill has more interceptions (5) than touchdown passes (2) this season. He’s also endured 17 sacks in 2023, the fourth-highest total in the league, although his protection was better last Sunday.

Tennessee vs Baltimore

Baltimore is a 3.5-point favorite in London on Sunday and the over-under is at a miniscule 41 points. The Ravens’ new-look aerial attack under offensive coordinator Todd Monken has struggled to find consistency, averaging just 189 passing yards per week – seventh-worst in the NFL. However, Tennessee has a bottom-ten pass defense, permitting over 240 yards every game.

Mike McDonald’s Baltimore D is in the top-three against the pass and top-seven against the run. That’s bad news for a moribund Titans offense that has struggled to move the ball both on the ground (18th in rushing yards per game) and through the air (28th in passing yards per game).

Best Bet

Just when you think you can count out the Titans, Mike Vrabel’s club rallies for a big win. While that could again be the case on Sunday, the Ravens are just too good on defense for Tennessee’s low-wattage attack.

Take Baltimore to cover the 3.5 points and the OVER 41 points.
