The 2023 NHL Western Conference semifinal series between the Stars and the Kraken started with Seattle jumping to a 2-1 series lead in the first three games. However, Dallas bounced back from that deficit to win Games 4 and 5, by scores of 6-3 and 5-2. Seattle pulled even in Game 6 with a stellar team performance.

Tonight, the Seattle Kraken head to their second straight Game 7 of the 2023 NHL playoffs. In the team’s Round 1 series against the defending Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche, the Kraken lost in their bid to eliminate the Avalanche in Game 6 by a score of 4-1. However, the team rebounded in Game 7, putting Colorado away 2-1. Seattle looks to win a second Game 7 against the Dallas Stars.
The Kraken play a fantastic brand of team hockey. They don’t rely on just one player to get things done for them, making them a dangerous and deep team to play against. However, he allowed three goals on 19 shots in that game.
Roope Hintz, who had 75 points during the regular season, is the team leader in points (18) and goals (8) for the Stars. Joe Pavelski, who missed all but one game of the Wild series, has eight goals in this series. He has scored at least one goal in each of the last three games after netting four in the series opener.
