The New York Rangers look to steal another game from Pittsburgh as they take on the Penguins this Sunday at 7 PM ET at the CONSOL Energy Center, in game two of the second round of NHL playoffs.

rangers-penguinsThe New York Rangers look to steal another game from Pittsburgh as they take on the Penguins this Sunday at 7 PM ET at the CONSOL Energy Center, in game two of the second round of NHL playoffs.

The Rangers lead the series 1-0 after winning 3-2 in the Eastern Conference semifinals on Friday; another victory will put them in a comfort zone to seal the deal at the Madison Square Garden.

“Since Christmas they’ve probably been our most consistent line,” Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said about his second line. “They’ve got real good chemistry. They read off one another and support one another well and … they scored two in overtime.”

The Penguins need to win at home this Sunday; they can’t afford to travel to NYC 0-2 in the series.

“You have to make sure you learn from it and make sure you’re better in the next one,” Penguins Sidney Crosby said. “You have to get better as the playoffs go on.”

“It could’ve went either way,” Crosby added. “I don’t think we played a full 60 (minutes).”

The NHL odds for game two have the Penguins as favorites in the puck line listed 1.5, meanwhile the game total was set at five goals.  The money line for this one has Pittsburgh at -156 and New York at +142.

NY Rangers are 2-5 SU in their last 7 games when playing on the road against Pittsburgh and the total has gone OVER in 4 of the NY Rangers last 5 games when playing Pittsburgh.
