blackhawks_kingsThe Los Angeles Kings could give a tremendous strike in the series with a win this Monday, when they host the Chicago Blackhawks at 9 PM ET at the Staples Center, in game four of the Western Conference finals.

The Kings lead the series 2-1 after winning 4-3 in their last outing with a tiebreaking goal by Tyler Toffoli, one of the few players on the team that doesn’t have a championship ring.

“I’m having so much fun with these guys,” said Toffoli, who has scored a goal in every game of the conference finals. “Getting to play with a guy like Carter is a great opportunity, and (Pearson) and me are trying to live up to him.”

The Blackhawks need a win, and it should be now.  They were in command of the series until the third period of game two, since then they haven’t been the same.

“We all want to win in here, and Toews is obviously our captain and leader,” Chicago defenseman Duncan Keith said after the loss in game three. “He definitely led the way tonight, but we need everybody if we are going to beat this team and try to win one here. Toews came out and led the way. It’s up to the rest of us to follow that.”

The NHL odds have the Los Angeles Kings as favorites in the money line, listed at -130 while the Chicago Blackhawks are +118.  The puck line has the Kings as 1.5 favorites.
