UConn Huskies vs. Alabama Crimson Tide: Latest Form
The UConn Huskies are 35-3. In the Elite Eight, they defeated the Illinois Fighting Illini 77-52. At the halfway stage the Huskies only held a five-point lead. After the break, they put Illini to the sword, outsourcing their opponents by a further 20 points to secure another impressive win.

This came after the Huskies defeated San Diego by 30 points in the Sweet Sixteen.
The last time the Huskies dropped a game was on February 20th. Since then Dan Hurley’s team has had 11 straight victories, including ten straight NCAA Tournament wins by 10 points or more. The Huskies just look impossible to be stopped at the moment.
The Alabama Crimson Tide could only manage a 5th place finish in the Southeastern in the regular season. They are 25-11 overall, while in their last ten, they are 5-5, and they are now also on a four-match winning streak.
In the postseason NCAA Tournament, they defeated Charleston 109-96 in the First Round. They followed that up with a 72-61 win over Grand Canyon in the Second Round, and then they defeated the No.1 seeds UNC 89-87 in the Sweet Sixteen.
In the Elite Eight, the Crimson Tide beat No.6 Clemson 89-82. As impressive as that run is, they will have to step it up a notch or three to extend their winning streak.
UConn vs. Alabama Picks and Predictions
The Crimson Tide has gotten stronger throughout the tournament. But it’s not likely that they’ve improved enough to beat the UConn Huskies. Could they cover the spread is more the question?
Winning margins for the Huskies so far were 25 points against Illinois in the Elite Eight, 30 points against San Diego in the Sweet 16, just 17 points against Northwestern in the Second Round, and 39 points against Stetson in the First Round.
