The Final Four is the fifth round of the NCAA basketball tournament when just four teams remain. It is the penultimate round of the tournament, with the winners of each regional playing one another for a chance to play in the championship game – the final.
March Madness offers futures odds from early on in the season, with those to make it to the Final Four being a popular betting market. March Madness Final Four odds are particularly popular because they offer bettors the opportunity to steer away from the Championship odds, but still, wager on the latter stages of the tournament.
The vast majority of major online sportsbooks offer March Madness Final 4 odds early on in the season – in some cases before the season has even begun. The 2023 Final Four stage will take place between April 1st and 3rd, taking place at the NRG Stadium in Houston.

The Favorites
Heading into 2024, Kansas sits atop the odds to make it to the Final Four at +350. The Jayhawks hope to capitalize on their momentum from last season’s national title. Right behind them is Duke at +375 odds, as basketball bluebloods are expected to battle for the championship once again.
Further down the list, Houston checks in with odds at +600. Led by Marcus Sasser, the Cougars have their sights set on redemption after last year’s early upset. Meanwhile, Arizona and UConn appear capable of making deep runs at +450 and +400 odds respectively.
The field has no shortage of contenders like reigning champion Kansas and perennial powers Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Gonzaga and more. But the beauty of March Madness is even unheralded teams can get hot and go on a surprise run. Just look at +1000 longshots like Miami Florida or Florida Atlantic as Final Four contenders.
With futures betting open, there’s profit potential by identifying sleepers before the bracket is set. And once March rolls around, it will be three weeks of madness with favorites dueling Cinderellas for college basketball’s ultimate prize.
