  • WHAT: WNBA 2024 Friday Night Bets – Indiana Fever vs. Washington Mystics
  • WHEN: Friday, June 7th, 2024 at 7:35 pm ET
  • WHERE: Entertainment & Sports Arena from Washington, D.C.

The WNBA Betting Sites for 2024 end the week with a game between two teams at the bottom of the WNBA standings. Fans get treated to quite a solid four-game slate on Friday night. All of these games will be televised and streamed via the ION family of networks. Fever vs Mystics Bets attempt to try and strike on a few more bets here.

Again, the best online betting sportsbooks show this contest to be even and yes Washington is a favorite in a game despite not winning one yet. There is some considerable surprise here but the Fever have been just as bad as the Mystics. Simply, that is partly why the spread is so close to even. Anyhow, here is our table below.

Fever vs Mystics Bets – Some Ways To Wager

So, the Fever vs Mystics Bets look at some simpler ways to wager. WNBA betting and the physicality has morphed into lives of their own early this season. A’ja Wilson, on Wednesday night, got hit in the face three times with force. She shook it off for the Las Vegas Aces and dropped 36 points like it was nothing. Wilson has been incredible through seven games. Oh, she hit her steals and rebounds props as well (adding 12 boards and six steals).

However, seeing quality and greatness like that in this tilt will be more of a challenge. Picking one’s spots is more than okay when it comes to betting over the long haul. Think about it. The best prognosticators of a sport typically hit around 55-60% over the course of a season. Anyone who claims much higher is probably not worth following. Bet with your head and not with your heart.

The Fever and Mystics again have a combined 2-18 record. Indiana has yielded a league-worst 90.5 points per game. That includes allowing 100 or more points in two of their past three contests. Now, the problem with Washington is that league-worst offensive rating of 92.2. Unfortunately, Indiana ranks 12th in net ratings because their defense is that poor. That 114.6 rating is scary!  Now, the numbers offer support to an offensive explosion of sorts. Eventually, Washington is going to break the bagel!

Indiana on the moneyline (-105) remains the best bet. With Washington playing tonight, they will be playing a rested and motivated Fever squad. Keep in mind, the spread bet (-110) is around the same so one can wager on that as well.

Fever vs Mystics Bets – Over Or Under?

Okay, the Fever vs Mystics bets wonder about the over or under on Friday.. With the schedule as it is, Indiana gets somewhat of a benefit here. The Fever get aided by finally getting time off for a little while. Sadly, those back-to-backs do not help a team on one rocky road. Every WNBA fan and bettor saw what occurred against the New York Liberty earlier this week. Christie Sides could and should be feeling the heat.

Now, Eric Thibault is too. Little does it matter that Mike is his father. At what point, does he consider pulling the plug here. Washington is 0-9 and could be 0-10 by Friday night potentially. Their -10.2 point differential is second worst in the league only behind Indiana (-13.1). Washington needs to tighten things up along with the pace because simply they do not rebound, get to the line, or make shots. When one ranks 11th or 12th in so many offensive metrics, that is a problem.

The same can be said for Indiana’s defense. However, every so often, the Fever do play better as a team on the defensive end. See their two wins versus Los Angeles and Chicago. That Sky game was rough and tumble but combined only for 141 points. Maybe, this contest does not hit that level. However, the potential is there.

Again, live betting the Under may be a choice to consider here too. However, that 163.5 number is so high now. It may even come down a little depending on what happens Thursday night. Both teams need this win which means the pace should get dragged downward enough. Roll with the Under.

What About Another Wager Or Two?

So, Fever vs Mystics bets ask what about another wager or two? 2024 started out wild for us at My Top Sportsbooks. The last few wagers with the New York Liberty were quite successful. Yes, there was that loss we took when Angel Reese got ejected and Chicago only scored 9 fourth quarter points. However, the Liberty covering and winning by double digits was worth a little pain. By the way, we are staying away from the Caitlin Clark props for Friday. That is too volatile of a market. So, do not think about it.

With the NBA Finals here, basketball wagering gets a little divided. Therefore, choosing to pick our spots here is okay. Looking at the Under for Washington at 41.5 points (-112) in the first half is even at a reasonable price. The largest comeback of 5+ points pays out only at -150 but for a few dollars, this remains a smarter wager.

Again, a close first quarter within two points either way pays out at +225 right now. This is something which may not last. The hope is both teams play things a little more conservatively.

Do not forget to keep an eye out for some more props coming closer to gametime.
