College Football Week 5 Odds – Ole Miss at Alabama

Two undefeated teams clash in what could be a great matchup on Saturday when Alabama hosts Ole Miss at Bryant-Denny Stadium, at 6:30 PM ET for the College football week 5.

The Crimson Tide is 3-0 this season, but 1-2 ATS.  They are 16 points favorites for Saturday’s matchup in the College Football odds. Alabama is 3-6 ATS in its last 9 games and has covered the spread just once in the last five meetings against Ole Miss.

“We obviously have a difficult game coming up, and we need to get it right,” Bama’s coach Nick Saban said. “We didn’t do a very good job on third down. We couldn’t run the ball, couldn’t finish a lot of drives, and consequently (Colorado State) stayed in the game, and we could never put them away.”

Alabama scored only 31 points against Colorado State last week; they missed receiver Amari Cooper and guard Anthony Steen.

The last time Ole Miss was 3-0 was back in 1989.  They expect a close, and perhaps high scoring affair.

“I think we can put points on them,” Junior QB Bo Wallace said about facing the Tide. “I think we can put points on anybody. We’ve just go to show up and play. It’s the same thing every week — let’s stay on schedule, control the tempo and don’t have any turnovers.”

The Ole Miss Rebels are 2-1 against the spread this season and 7-3 ATS vs. Alabama in their 10 overall meetings.
