2013 College Football Odds To Win MWC Mountain Division

Boise State is the favorite to win the MWC Mountain Division once again; their program manage by Chris Petersen is one of the most successful in college football in recent years, and they have plenty to be excited for this 2013 season.

boise-footballLast season the Broncos averaged 30.2 points per game; their worst number since 1998, but it was basically the first year post the Kellen Moore era and the first season as the starting quarterback for Joe Southwick.

Boise State’s offensive line is as good as it gets in the conference, which means Southwick will have enough time to find open receivers against diminished matchups down the field.

The only problem for the Broncos could be the depth of the roster, especially on defense.

Utah State is second on the list in terms of the college football odds, but even so, they remain as a long shot.

First-year head coach Matt Wells will have the difficult job to replace running back Kerwynn Williams, who’s now with the Indianapolis Colts.  Joe Hill rushed for 269 yards last season, but he was most used in red zone situations as he scored seven touchdowns.

The Aggies won 11 games last season, but they have to visit Utah and USC and will host BYU. Utah State has won 16 of its last 19 games, and the three losses were by a combined six points, but they still have some issues to challenge Boise State.
