Frank LorenzoA Big 12 rivalry will steal the College Basketball show this Monday night as the Oklahoma State Cowboys, ranked 11th, take on the Oklahoma Sooners, ranked 25th, at Lloyd Noble Center at 9 PM ET.
The NCAAB odds have the Sooners as 4 point home dogs despite owning the Cowboys at home in the last decade.
The Sooners (16-4) don’t care the Cowboys (16-3) are the best ranked team of the two; Oklahoma has dominated the series winning the last nine games in a row at home. “This group is growing,” Sooners coach Lon Kruger said. “We’re still learning. We’re still growing. But we’ve done a good job finishing ball games.”
The Cowboys beat West Virginia 81-75 on Saturday with 29 points from Le’Bryan Nash; a career high for him.
“Le’Bryan gave us an incredible effort and an incredible game,” said coach Travis Ford. “We needed it, especially with the adversity we had in many different ways. He really held down the fort for us. We were running a few sets for him, but really we were just trying to get him the ball. We made it clear we wanted to play through him.”
