After suffering last week against Clemson, the Florida State Seminoles will try to remain undefeated when they visit the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Saturday, September 27th at Carter-Finley stadium, at 3:30 PM ET.
Florida State will have back quarterback James Winston and will be looking for their 20th win in a row. The Heisman Trophy winner, who was suspended for the game against the Tigers, has thrown for 626 yards and three touchdowns.
After allowing 31 points in their first game against Oklahoma State, the Seminoles have limited their other two opponents to 17 points or less. Jimbo Fisher’s team is favorite to win this match by -19 points, and the total game is rated at 59.
The Wolfpack has won five of the last seven at home against the current number one of the nation. The last meeting between these teams was in 2012, and North Carolina State took the victory by one point (17-16). Since that game, FSU has not lost in the ACC.
The Seminolesβ offense, which is the best of the conference, is led by quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who has thrown for 1,005 yards, 10 touchdowns and only one interception.
North Carolina State, who is looking to start 5-0 for the first time since 2002, has never won against the top ranked team in the nation (0-3) and it seems that bad streak will continue this weekend against the Seminoles.
