The game of the week in the Big 12 features two undefeated teams as the TCU Horned Frogs will try to slow down the Baylor Bears. The game goes today at McLane Stadium in Waco at 3:30 p.m. Eastern. The winner should be in line for one of the four playoff spots, for the time being, while the loser will be on the outside looking in.

Looking at this season’s stats, TCU has been balanced as a team. The Horned Frogs have the 12th best offense in the nation (42.8 points per game) and seventh best defense (13.5 points per game). As great as TCU’s stats are, though, Baylor’s are even better. The Bears have the top offense in the country (51.0 points per game) and the fifth best defense (12.4 points per game).

TCU’s biggest test so far this season came last weekend when they squeaked past a very good Oklahoma Sooners team, 37-33, at home. TCU covered the spread as 3.5 points dogs. TCU coach Gary Patterson knows that this game will be an even tougher test. “We understand the significance of this ball game. We’re both undefeated,” said Patterson. “Whoever wins the ball game would have the driver’s seat along with the other unbeatens going forward.”

The Horned Frogs have been a great bet this season, recording a perfect 4-0 record against the spread in 2014.

Even with this stat, though, Baylor one-ups TCU, as the Bears are 5-0 against the spread.

The Bears scoring numbers are incredible, posting 45 points on SMU, 70 on Northwestern State, 63 on Buffalo, and 49 on Iowa.  Their lowest scoring victory was last week against Texas where they won 28-7.

Baylor comes in as 7.5 point favorites and the game total sits at 67.5.
