With the third week of the 2022-23 NCAA Football Season behind us, we look at the teams in the ACC and who is in the mix to win the 2022 ACC Championship Game.
Last year ended in a rare manner, with Pittsburgh winning the ACC Championship Game with a 45-21 victory over Wake Forest. With that, the Panthers broke the long winning streak of the Clemson Tigers. Before Pittsburgh’s win over the Demon Deacons, Clemson won every ACC Championship Game between 2015 and 2020.
Pittsburgh finished the season with a 7-1 conference record, the same record Wake Forest put up. North Carolina State and Clemson trailed those teams in the standings at 6-2 in the ACC in 2021.

Our pick
Clemson has a big test in Week 4 of the NCAA Football season as they face Wake Forest in an away game on September 24. After that, the Tigers line up against the Wolfpack on October 1. These two upcoming games will tell us a lot about what Clemson will do this season, but for now, the Clemson Tigers are the best bet to win the 2022 ACC Championship game.
