As a result of their great start, the best cricket betting sites make the Rajasthan Royals +300 to win the 2024 IPL. Following the Royals are the pre-tournament favorites, the Chennai Super Kings, at +350. The Kolkata Knight Riders are next at +425.
Outside of the leading three franchises in the betting is Lucknow. The Super Giants are +600. Given their solid start to the season, that looks like a good value bet. Also on +600 is Sunrisers Hyderabad, with the Mumbai Indians next at +650.

The seemingly forever underachieving Royal Challengers Bangalore are out to +3300. They aren’t the worst, though. The Punjab Kings are +4500, and the Delhi Capitals are +12500.

The name of Mayank Yadav may not be too familiar to cricket fans outside of India. But the Delhi-born pace bowler has been making a name for himself in the IPL for Lucknow. The 21-year-old has only played twice. In Lucknow’s last two wins. Already he has won two Player of the Match awards, picking up combined figures of 6/41 from his two outings.

Expect Yadav to torment his home-town team with the ball when he faces the Delhi Capitals on Friday. The Capitals have struggled to score runs in the competition this year, only going above 200 once. And even that was in a losing cause. Yadav is only going to make their task harder.
Lucknow likes to bat first. They have won the three games they have batted first in and lost the only match where they had to chase. As for Delhi, they have batted first twice, losing one and winning one.
It may be the safe option to back the team that bats first to win. But we think Lucknow will get the job done no matter when they bat, especially with the form of Mayank Yadav with the ball in hand.
