Just a couple of weeks back, the Royals looked on course for a top-two finish. With Jos Buttler firing at the top of the order, Rajasthan won eight of their first nine matches. But their form has fallen off a cliff, and they have now lost four of their last five.
Only a rain-induced no-result on Sunday stopped Rajasthan’s losing skid.
In the case of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, it’s a complete role reversal. They sat bottom of the points table just a few matches ago, but after a six-match winning run, they snuck into the playoffs with a 27-run victory over the Chennai Super Kings on Saturday.
Captain Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli did the damage, putting on 78 for the first wicket when the ball was doing a lot of talking. That partnership did the business and was the difference between the two teams on the day.

And now, all of a sudden, RCB is the form team in the competition and in with a great chance to win their maiden IPL.
Rajasthan Royals vs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru Match Betting
In the betting to win Match 72 of the 2024 IPL, RCB are the favorites at -130 to win on the money line with BetOnline. The Rajasthan Royals are +110 to rediscover their winning form and claim their first win in six.

IPL 2024 Outright Winner Betting
The two stand-out teams in the 2024 IPL were the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Rajasthan Royals. After 11 matches, the two franchises both had 16 points. KKR finished the season first in the table with 20 points.
