November is a relatively quiet month in the boxing world, with Agit Kabayel set to defend his WBC heavyweight championship in the biggest bout on November 28th.

The 27-0 reigning champion will put his title on the line against 25-0 Nelson Hysa at the Merkur-Spiel Arena in Dusseldorf,  Germany.

Elsewhere, Viddal Riley will defend his European cruiserweight title against undefeated challenger Seydi Coupe on November 14th in London, England, while Chris Billam-Smith will also step into the ring against Cheavon Clarke this month in a cruiserweight bout.

There has been some significant movement in the betting markets for boxing this month, and this is a closer look at some of the action worth tracking for bettors.

• Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have finally signed and agreed to a deal that will see them square off in the ring at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11th, 2026.

There is no rematch clause in the deal, meaning it will be a one-and-done bout, and ring-walk is expected to be at around 1am local time. Both fighters come into the fight on two-fight winning streaks, with Fury defeating Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach, while Joshua beat Jake Paul and Kristian Prenga, knocking them both out.

The official announcement has seen plenty of movement in the betting, with Fury moving from -200 down to -188 in the last month. Joshua has continued to drift too, moving from +144 in September to +175 this month.

• Ryan Garcia claims agreement to fight Floyd Mayweather

Ryan Garcia proved he is a worthy WBC welterweight champion by knocking out rival Conor Benn in the second round with a vicious hook last month, but he is now claiming that there is an agreement for him to get the legendary Floyd Mayweather out of retirement for a mega fight.

There is no date official yet, but Garcia is pushing to make the bout happen on February 6 2027.

• Oleksandr Usyk targets cruiserweight return and David Benavidez

After vacating his heavyweight world titles earlier this year, Usyk is targeting a return to cruiserweight in 2027. His team has outlined plans to pursue a world title before a potential unification fight with WBA and WBO champion David Benavidez. The proposed matchup has not been finalized, and its timing will depend on both fighters’ plans.

Futures market check

Looking forward to future matchups in the world of boxing, there are some interesting lines beginning to appear on the market.

• Jake Paul (-333) vs Cedric Doumbe (+333)

Jake Paul announced this week that he will be returning to the ring on Christmas Eve to take on MMA and boxing professional Cedric Doumbe in a cruiserweight bout with a 200lbs weight limit.

Paul has been made the heavy favorite for the bout with bookmakers, with Doumbe only having one professional boxing fight in his career. He won that on points, but is better known for his kickboxing career, where he was a multi-time world champion.

Paul opened in the betting as a -333 favorite for the fight while Doumbe opened as a +333 underdog. The fight will take place in Dubai.

• Dmitry Bivol (c) vs Callum Smith (WBA & IBF light-heavyweight world titles)

Another major fight in December will see unified light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol defend his WBA, IBF and WBO world titles against British challenger Callum Smith on December 12, 2026, at UMMC Arena in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

No odds are available for the fight as of yet, but Bivol is expected to be a heavy, heavy favorite heading into the bout considering his 25-1 professional record, including a win over Artur Beterbiev. Smith is a 31-2 in his career and won his last two fights, but hasn’t been in the ring since February 2025 and that inactivity is unlikely to bode well for him against one of the best in the world.

Expect to see odds available soon, and keep a close eye on any value available on the champion to retain.

What could move odds before next month’s update

It’s possible that there could be some official fight announcements coming in the near future.

• Shakur Stevenson’s super fight is off the table after he was granted his release from Zuffa Boxing just months after signing, but he is hoping to secure an agreement to fight against Raymond Muratalla in 2027.
• If Oleksandr Usyk and David Benavidez agree to a cruiserweight bout, the official announcement could prompt bookmakers to open betting markets. The timing and terms of any potential fight remain unconfirmed.
• Ryan Garcia continues to push for his fight against Floyd Mayweather, with a February 6th date mooted, so an announcement could be imminent if talks are as advanced as reported.
• Naoya Inoue is flexing his muscles as the best around in his division as he and Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez continue talks for a fight in spring 2027 to decide the undisputed best in the world at super bantamweight.
