Sportsbooks are fueling momentum in futures markets for conference outcomes and regular-season wins, especially as November rolls along. The current title contenders are now Ohio State, Notre Dame, Indiana, LSU, Miami (FL), and Georgia. As it stands, the Bulldogs are more of a favorite at +350 to +400. Quite a few teams remain in the mix as nine colleges stand +1800 or shorter currently.
Finally, watch for more updates. The College Football Playoff rankings get released at last on Tuesday, November 3rd. Finally, there can be a definitive list of the Top 12. The time is now to get into some of the shifts that currently engross futures bettors.
Conference NCAAF line moves and shifts into early November
College Football Conference Favorites
- Big 12 – Utah at +160 (BYU now at +220)
- SEC – Georgia at +140 (+265 in late October), Texas now +240
- ACC- Miami (FL) at -360 (-525 in late October)
- Big Ten – Indiana at +130 (Ohio State at +180)
- Pac-12 – Boise State at -160 (-180 in late October)
NCAAF betting odds continue to shift from week to week as the season progresses. This section covers weekly odds movement for both conference futures and the national title, why those markets changed, and what other factors contributed to the moves.
We are exploring stories such as injury updates, lineup changes, and unexpected factors that can affect expectations after a team is upset or its outlook changes. For even more analysis, keep checking back for the latest NCAAF odds 2026 breakdown at MTS.
Regarding conference futures, shopping can start to get interesting for the SEC, Big 12, and maybe Big Ten. The Big 10 features an undefeated UCLA team at +380 while Ohio State and Indiana have their issues. Miami (FL) probably has locked up the ACC and Boise State remains the class of the Pac-12.
Georgia remains undefeated, but traveling to Ole Miss could be a problem. Kentucky and Tennessee battle in the hopes of staying in the conference race. Even Week 11 has a few conference traps for the contenders.
Award futures continue to entice the bettors out there. The 2026 college football season’s biggest award does not get revealed until early December! November is usually the big moving month.
NCAAF Heisman trophy update
With Week 10 here, we are tracking how leading Heisman candidates perform against upcoming opponents. Several contenders have already made strong cases, but November’s matchups could still change the award race.
When looking at the latest update, the Heisman Trophy is still king among the futures. This is a big reason why the MTS Heisman Trophy betting guide is a page for customers to lock those eyes on. College football betting analysis here is essential.
Our Updated Top 6:
- Jeremiah Smith (Ohio State) – slid down to +290 with injury news) from -220 favorite
- Malachi Toney (Miami) – rockets up to +305
- Sam Leavitt (LSU) – roars back to +4500
- Trinidad Chambliss (Ole Miss) – Still in it at +1200
- Darian Mensah (Miami) – moved to favorite status at +160
- C.J. Carr (Notre Dame) – went back to +1200
So, the numbers and players have shuffled around considerably since a couple of weeks ago. Gunnar Stockton dropped out of contention even though the Bulldogs have still not lost in 2026. With C.J. Carr getting a big chance this week, the Notre Dame quarterback could strengthen his case with a big performance. Jeremiah Smith has been dominant, but with Julian Sayin out for the regular season, the wideout faces a tougher path. Meanwhile, Miami quarterback Darian Mensah remains firmly in the Heisman race.
Josh Hoover was benched on Saturday as Indiana struggled to finally beat Minnesota in overtime. He actually fell off the board completely as Keelon Russell of Alabama did as well (+10000 from +1700).
NCAAF news and Weeks 10-11 betting impact
Here we cover news related to strategy, injuries, and how these developments affect college football betting markets. Quarterbacks take top billing from week to week and now Week 10 will deliver. We love the idea that six matchups feature Top 20 teams. That includes top-ranked Miami (FL) traveling to South Bend to face the fourth-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Currently, the Week 10 schedule may carry the most betting impact so far this season. The full slate includes several huge Top 25 matchups, including BYU and Utah. BYU narrowly edged out Notre Dame but has not looked quite the same since, Utah has gone undefeated and had a close call against Colorado of all teams. However, they took care of business against Houston then nearly scored 50 on Cincinnati. This figures to be quite the matchup among the early Saturday contests.
We’re in for an all-timer next weekend
Some HUGE games next Saturday:
• #1 Miami vs. #4 Notre Dame
• #2 Georgia vs. #12 Ole Miss
• #3 Utah vs. #7 BYU
• #8 Kentucky vs. #16 Tennessee
• #9 Alabama vs. #15 LSU
• #10 Texas vs. #19 Missouri
• #11 Ohio State vs. Oregon
• #21 Iowa vs. Northwestern🍿🍿🍿

Again, the fact that there is so much to choose from is something else. Even that Ole Miss-Georgia game could be something else. Ole Miss features an offense with Trinidad Chambliss that can scare even the Bulldogs defense. This is only one of four Top 25 clashes from the SEC. Can Gunnar Stockton elevate the Bulldogs passing attack in this one on the road in a hostile environment? This is the first of three ranked battles for the Bulldogs. Now, talk about a gauntlet.
Week 11 checks in with a big one between USC and Indiana. Both teams need to win in order to stay in the Big 10 race and even the playoff race. If things do go as expected, the early line could be closer than expected. Week 11 also gives us Texas and LSU in an SEC contest. Can LSU get past Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee in successive weeks? They may need to in order to secure a college football playoff spot. .
College football betting gone mobile
Once more, Weeks 10 and 11 feature some conference gold and non-conference gems. Hey, the convenience of mobile betting adds a charge to the latest odds and markets on games across the country. This includes props and more for every contest. After all, college football storylines add to the moneylines and more. Watch those shifts before every Saturday. Look at Miami (FL) and Notre Dame which has already moved between 3.5 and 5.5 points for Notre Dame.
Phones and tablets will have to be at the ready. Again, MTS delivers with the Best Sportsbooks for mobile betting page. This provides a premier setup and simple college football betting analysis. Also, there are promotions that can again help managing that betting dollar. Weekend betting boosts are spiking with November upon us. Combining these with other sports promotions can help immensely.
Betting choices only rise from here. Again, Week 10 betting props are out with key early November matchups. By the way, one can now wager on those Miami-Notre Dame props including Darian Mensah yards, Malachi Toney receiving yards, anytime touchdowns, and much more. CJ Carr may be the one to watch here as the Fighting Irish may need to air the ball out in this Top 5 tilt.
NCAA college football betting trends going into Weeks 10-11
Keep the National Championship betting page bookmarked to follow what is happening in college football futures markets and see which teams are moving up or down on a weekly basis. Early November delivers the latest shifts and betting trends.
Miami and Georgia lead the board with Utah and Notre Dame close behind. Ohio State faded with the injury to Julian Sayin as Sayin is out for the regular season. Indiana has quarterback issues with Curt Cignetti having to bench Josh Hoover last week as the Hoosiers squeaked a victory out in overtime. It seems October brought the heat on bettors and November begins with a bang. .
For the Week 10 late-night crowd, there are five games that start at 9:30 pm ET or later. That includes several on TV (FOX, CW, and ESPN). Typically, these contests feature closer spreads and can deliver some late intrigue and betting possibilities. West Virginia and Texas Tech could set the scoreboard ablaze. The Mountaineers do not play much defense but wow are they entertaining. The Red Raiders will have their hands full (especially as 17,5-point favorites).
Let us wait on the best college bowls football betting for now until we get that first College Football Playoff poll. The first poll comes out this Tuesday at 7pm ET on ESPN and will start to give us some ideas on who may end up at which bowl…eventually.
What might the first college football playoff poll look like?
As November moves along, expect game updates. However, the college football season allows us to look at what the first college football playoff poll might look like.
Expect Miami-Georgia-Utah to make up the Top 3. After that, it gets interesting. One of the bigger debates will be UCLA who is 8-0 but only beat one ranked opponent and is without Nico Iamaleava for the season. The Bruins have been surprising but a road game in Minnesota could be a test.
Finally, with so many SEC teams to choose from, are 4 or 5 teams inside the Top 12? This first poll will be something!

NCAAF Sports News FAQ
Find answers to common questions bettors have about college football futures, offseason storylines, and NCAAF betting trends.
Hey, Week 10 is here and the top game of the week comes from South Bend. Expect Notre Dame to try and air the ball out more often. North Carolina and Billy Edwards Jr. tore up the Hurricanes to the tune of 341 yards and 4 touchdowns.
In the meantime, the Fighting Irish must play better defensively. However, they did play against the Tar Heels a little better compared to the Hurricanes. This tilt expects to be a one-score game heading to the final seconds. Miami gets the cover here.
The answer is yes both teams really could miss the College Football Playoff. Ohio State looked completely lost against USC. Worse, the Buckeys face a resilient Oregon team and Michigan to end the regular season.
Look the Buckeyes could run the table but they might drop another game or two. The same goes for Texas, who also has two losses already. Playing at Missouri and LSU though might be an even bigger problem.
November opens the month with teams like Florida and SMU on the brink of falling out of the Top 25.
Then, there are teams like Northwestern and Iowa who play each other. The loser likely drops out. The one thing we were wrong with was UCLA. Give them credit, they keep finding ways to win all while keeping the game simple.
The MAC better known as the MAC-tion is the one conference that gives us Tuesday night games.
Keep in mind, Miami (OH) is a dangerous team in this conference and they face Ohio in Week 11 with conference bragging rights on the line. Not surprisingly this game is on ESPN and ESPN2.
Expect a lot of entertainment and a close spread here.
The answer here involves a plus-money pick. Kentucky is still around the +150 to +175 range which is surprising even given their schedule. The Wildcats rebounded from that dud against Alabama but still have Tennessee, Florida, and Missouri on their schedule.
Winning 2 of 3 likely may be just enough to get them to the playoff. 3 of 3 is very possible here.
Now, this is where the debates heat up..
Right now, there are undefeated teams in college football. Miami (FL), UCLA, and Utah all have a zero in the loss column? Which one survives their schedule and goes through November undefeated?
Utah plays BYU on Saturday, Miami (FL) plays Notre Dame. UCLA has four games and must play USC at the end of the month. Utah has to beat BYU and Arizona back-to-back.
Simply, Miami only must get past Notre Dame. They are our best chance of the three to remain undefeated.
