Will the AFC or NFC be victorious in the first year of the new Pro Bowl format? Before we look at the new competitions and make our picks, here’s where you can find the best Super Bowl betting tips and smart advice on how to bet on 2023 Super Bowl Props.
Flag Football
AFC to Win | NFC to Win | |
Flag Football Game 1 | -120 | -120 |
Flag Football Game 2 | -120 | -120 |
Flag Football Game 3 | -120 | -120 |
Will Derek Carr stay hot?
Players from the AFC and NFC will go head-to-head in three Pro Bowl flag football games on Sunday. As is customary in flag football, the seven-on-seven competition will feature a quarterback, five skill position players and a center to snap the ball. Derek Carr will be one of the QBs for the AFC. The Raiders’ trade candidate was red hot in the precision passing event on Thursday, leading his conference to a win.
With some mystery around the rosters, the AFC and NFC are both at -120 to win each game. All we can tell you now is that the running back rooms are stacked on each side with Nick Chubb, Derrick Henry and Josh Jacobs doing battle with Dalvin Cook, Christian McCaffrey and Saquon Barkley. The elusive Giants back led the NFC to a Dodgeball victory on Day 1, preventing his conference from being shutout.

Kick Tic Tac Toe
Conference | |
AFC to Win | -135 |
NFC to Win | -105 |
AFC favored due to Justin Tucker
What is Kick Tic Tac Toe, you ask? According to NFL.com, each team’s kicker, punter and long snapper will compete in a tic-tac-toe competition. While we don’t have a clue how the game works, we do know that Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is on the AFC side. That’s apparently all oddsmakers need to know as they’ve installed the conference as -135 favorites, with the NFC at -105.
Gridiron Gauntlet
Conference | |
AFC | -105 |
NFC | -135 |
Big dudes moving fast
Gridiron Gauntlet sounds a bit like the NFL’s version of American Ninja Warrior. Players will compete in a side-by-side relay race where they “climb walls, go under tables, navigate a tire run and push a blocking sled with a coach upon it.” Sounds fun.
There are some large, large men competing in this one. The AFC squad includes Joel Bitonio, Myles Garrett, Nick Chubb, Cam Heyward and Dion Dawkins. They’ll be up against Penei Sewell, Brian Burns, Saquon Barkley, Tristan Wirfs and Cam Jordan. Oddsmakers have made the NFC a -135 favorite versus the AFC (-105). That “kinda” makes sense as Gridiron Gauntlet will “highlight players’ speed and agility” and the NFC side is a bit younger and more athletic.

Move The Chains
Conference | |
AFC | -105 |
NFC | -135 |
Weighted Wall Pull event
Move the Chains also features some of the biggest, baddest dudes in the league. Quinnen Williams, Jeffrey Simmons and Maxx Crosby are three of the 10 AFC competitors, while the NFC has Dexter Lawrence, Trent Williams and Demarcus Lawrence, to just name a few.
In total, there are two teams of five players per conference. They will compete side-by-side in a best-of-three playoff where “players have to pull a heavily-weighted wall ten yards as quickly as possible, using first-down chains.” The NFC is -135 chalk, but we’ll take the AFC (-105) in this event that requires “strength, speed and ingenuity.”
