Both the Baltimore Ravens and the Detroit Lions are obligated to win after finding out the results of the Sunday week 15 NFL games; both teams will meet on Monday Night Football at 8:30 PM ET at Ford Field.
The Ravens need to win now that they realize the Bengals couldn’t take care of business against the Steelers on the Sunday Night matchup. They still have a shot at the division title.
“I think we’ve won the close games at home, and we haven’t won them on the road. That’s the bottom line,” coach John Harbaugh said. “We’ve done the things we needed to do to win tight games at home, and we haven’t done the things we’ve needed to do on the road. It’s us.”
The Lions know the Packers and Bears won away from home, but they still control their destiny if they manage to beat the current champions. Detroit is 4-2 at home, but one of those losses came against an AFC North opponent. Their most recent loss was against the Eagles last week.
“We’ll just take this slap in the face and hope it wakes us up,” cornerback Chris Houston said. “We have two straight home games, and we have to go get them. We can’t get down on ourselves. We are still in a good position in our division. I think we like when our backs are against the wall.”
The Lions are 6 point favorites for Monday Night football.
