The Baltimore Ravens showed their power on Monday night; contrary to what the Philadelphia Eagles did against the Browns; Ravens and Eagles will clash this Sunday at 1 PM ET in what could easily be the most interesting game of week 2.
Both Baltimore and Philadelphia are amongst the favorites in their respective conference to get to the Super Bowl, but the ways to get there might be a little different.
The Ravens destroyed the Bengals in an AFC north division matchup; the game was not easy, but Joe Flacco did a good job throwing 299 yards and two touchdowns without committing any turnovers.
Flacco showed patience, and if the opponents donβt make him uncomfortable in the pocket; he has shown he can eat them alive.
Also, Ray Rice had a decent but effective game with 68 yards and two rushing touchdowns.Β With Flacco, Rice, and the big plays of Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith, the Ravens might surprise an expert or two with their offense.
The Eagles showed lots of good stuffs on Sunday in their victory against the Browns, but they turned the ball over too many times to actually have a god lead.Β Michael Vick threw for 317 yards, two touchdowns but made four crucial mistakes that held his team back.
Philadelphia outgained Cleveland 456 yards to 210, but their five turnovers were the game for the match to be close at the end.
The Eagles could easily be the most talented team in the NFL, now and the year before, but they are too inconsistent to be considered a serious candidate.Β We know what the Ravens are, but we are about to find out how good this Philly team is.
