NFL Preseason Week 4: Bills vs Lions Odds

The Buffalo Bills will try to win for the first time in this preseason when they face the Detroit Lions this Wednesday at 7 PM ET.

NFL Preseason Week 4: Bills vs Lions OddsThe Bills made a few moves last week cutting backup quarterback Vince Young to trade for Tarvaris Jackson, who could play against Detroit. “Vince, I don’t want to get into what he can do and can’t do, it just didn’t work out,” general manager Buddy Nix said. “We just need to move on and give this guy a try”.

“Maybe getting in the right place and the right system, he’ll blossom,” Nix said about Jackson. “He’s bounced around a little bit, but who knows, we’ll give it a try. We know he’s got the ability to do it, and we’ll see if he can produce”.

Coach Chan Gailey’s idea about Jackson is to see what he can produce on different offensive packages, but also, to see if he can learn the offense quickly enough.

“We brought him in to compete for a backup job,” coach Chan Gailey said. “So we’re going to see how fast he can learn. I’ve never been in this situation, so I can’t tell you how I’m going to do it,” he said. “We’ll evaluate it and do the best we can. And it won’t be easy”.

The Lions will put on the field quarterback Mathew Stafford against the Bills, after getting his left hand injured during the preseason game against Oakland Raiders.

“I think the biggest thing for me was the fact that I had to come out of the game,” Stafford said. “Had it been a regular-season game, I’m sure I would’ve found a way to get back on that field”.

The lines have the Lions -4 for this game.
