A crucial game for a playoffs wildcard spot in the AFC has the NY Jets and the Baltimore Ravens clashing on Sunday at 1 PM ET at M&T Bank Stadium, for the NFL’s week 12.
The Ravens are 4-6 and lost to the Chicago Bears last week in a game delayed by a storm. The current champions need to a good streak of wins if they want to be in the postseason next year.
“In the end, it comes down to winning a tight game and doing the things you have to do to win a tight game,” coach John Harbaugh said. “That’s what we have to continue to work on doing a better job of because we haven’t done a good enough job in close games.”
The Jets currently the last spot for the playoffs with a 5-5 record in the AFC, but their QB, Geno Smith, is a turnover machine; he has 16 interceptions this season.
“I don’t think statistics tell every single thing, every part of the story,” Smith said. “I obviously don’t want my stats to look like that, and I don’t want to play like that. But I’ve gotten better. I’ve become a smarter player.”
The Ravens are 3.5 point favorites for Sunday while the game total is at 39 points. NY Jets are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games when playing on the road against Baltimore; also keep in mind the total has gone UNDER in 5 of the Ravens last 5 games at home.
