With their season on life support, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers ended a five-game losing streak with a 31-28 overtime victory over the Cowboys in Week 10. Green Bay will now host the perpetually underrated Tennessee Titans, who moved to 6-3 on Sunday with a 17-10 win over the Denver Broncos.

Rodgers revival?
Aaron Rodgers connected with rookie receiver Christian Watson four times for 107 yards and three TDs in a 31-28 OT win over Dallas. While the win over Dallas has momentarily revived Green Bay’s playoff hopes alive, they’re still just 4-6 with tough games against Tennessee, Philadelphia, Miami and Minnesota on the horizon.
The first test of course will come on Thursday versus the Titans. Mike Vrabel’s club escaped Denver with a 17-10 victory in Week 10. While the win doesn’t look all that impressive on paper, Tennessee produced a strong effort considering they were just one week removed from a hard-fought 20-17 loss to the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Tannehill back in command
Ryan Tannehill returned from a two-game injury absence on Sunday, connecting with Nick Westbrook-Ikhine for five receptions, 119 yards and two scores. It was the first 100-yard receiving performance for a Titans wideout this season, so don’t expect more fireworks through the air on Thursday.
Instead, Tennessee will likely feed Derrick Henry the rock against a Packers’ run defense allowing the seventh-most rushing yards per game (140.6). Denver held him to just 53 yards on 19 carries in Week 10, but King Henry still ranks second in the NFL in both rushing yards (932) and rushing touchdowns (9).
Packers vs Titans
Green Bay is favored by a field goal at Lambeau Field and the over-under is set at just 41.5. Both clubs rank bottom-ten in the NFL in points scored per game. The matchup could come down to each team’s ability to establish the run. Tennessee has the second-worst passing production in the league (148.2 yards per game) while GB is about league average (223 ypg).
Aaron Jones ran for 138 yards and a TD in Sunday’s win against the Cowboys with A.J. Dillon rumbling for another 65 yards. But, it will be hard to replicate that game plan on Thursday. The Titans rank second-best in the NFL against the run, permitting only 85.1 yards per contest.

Best Bet
It’s difficult to predict the outcome of Thursday Night Football without knowing the status of Jeffrey Simmons. An ankle injury kept Tennessee’s dominant defensive tackle out of Sunday’s game – his first missed game since 2020.
However, Mike Vrabel’s club has been the tougher, more consistent team all season. If a street fight breaks out on Thursday, the Titans will come out on top.
Final Score Prediction: Tennessee 21, Packers 20
