- The Los Angeles Chargers (+500) are favored to be the NFL’s last unbeaten team in 2022
- Tampa Bay (+600) and Buffalo (+650) both face tough schedules to open the season
- Green Bay (+1000), Philadelphia (+1600) and Cincinnati (+3300) are excellent bets to remain undefeated the longest

Can’t beat the Bolts?
The Chargers (+500) are favored to be the league’s last undefeated squad despite missing the playoffs in 2021. Los Angeles opens this season with AFC West rivalry games against the Raiders and Chiefs, who they play in Arrowhead on short rest.
However, if Brandon Staley’s crew can exit Week 2 with a 2-0 record, they’ll face Jacksonville, Houston, Cleveland, Denver, Seattle and Atlanta over the next six weeks.

Favored for a fast start
Considering they are the current favorites to meet in Super Bowl 57 in Arizona, it’s not surprising to see the Bills (+650) and Buccaneers (+600) high on the board. That said – we’d avoid both. Buffalo has matchups with the Rams, Titans, Ravens, Chiefs and Packers over the first seven weeks while Tampa Bay opens with the Cowboys, Saints, Green Bay and Kansas City.
Russell Wilson and the Broncos (+900) get Seattle and Houston in weeks 1 and 2, but their schedule toughens up with the 49ers, Raiders, Colts and Chargers over the next month.
Best bets to stay unbeaten
While Green Bay (+1000) looks bereft of pass catchers after dealing Davante Adams, they still have four-time (and reigning) NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and Matt Lafleur, who has the most wins ever (39) by an NFL head coach in his first three seasons.
Other than a tough road game against Tom Brady’s Bucs in Week 2, the Packers can ride a soft slate of opponents (Vikings, Bears, Patriots, Giants, Jets, Commanders) up until the end of October.

Already a trendy bet to win the NFC East, Philadelphia (+1600) has the juiciest opening-month slate in the NFL with four contests against teams that missed the post-season in 2021 (Lions, Vikings, Commanders, Jaguars). Nick Siriani’s Eagles then have winnable contests against Arizona, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Houston and Washington, so a hot start to the year is almost assured.
Despite making it all the way to Super Bowl 56, Cincinnati is a ridiculous +3300 to be the NFL’s last undefeated squad. Following winnable games versus Pittsburgh and Dallas to open the year, Joe Burrow’s Bengals will face seven-straight opponents who missed the playoffs last season. Giddy up!
Best Bets: Packers (+1000), Eagles (+1600) and Bengals (+3300)
