Following his trade to the Bills last season, Stefon Diggs was anywhere between +2000 and +3300 to lead the NFL in receiving yards as experts questioned his fit with the once erratic and inaccurate Josh Allen.
Diggs went on to pace the league with 1535 receiving yards in Buffalo’s high-powered offense, forming an instant connection with Allen, who made a transcendent leap in his third year under center to make the Bills bonafide Super Bowl contenders.

Top weapons out wide
Most fantasy analysts expect regression from Stefon Diggs (+800) after a career year. However, the 27-year-old’s chemistry with Josh Allen improved over the second-half of the season, averaging 113 receiving yards in the final eight games including the playoffs, which suggests even bigger numbers could be in store. Finishing third with 1,407 yards in 2020, DeAndre Hopkins (+1000) could also improve his connection with Kyler Murray in year two.
The case for speedster Tyreek Hill (+900) as Patrick Mahomes’ No. 1 deep option in the Chiefs limited passing tree is clear. His teammate Travis Kelce (+1100) finished runner up with 1,416 receiving yards last year, almost becoming the first ever tight end to lead the league in the category.

In his career, Calvin Ridley (+900) has averaged 107 yards in eight games when Julio Jones didn’t suit up – a pace that extrapolates to 1,819 yards in a 17-game regular season with his former teammate now in Tennessee.
At +1000, Davante Adams is not bettable until we know the status of Aaron Rodgers, and as unstoppable as he looks on the field, A.J. Brown (+1400) is tough to wager on with the arrival of Julio and new offensive coordinator Todd Downing, who failed miserably in his first go-around in Oakland years ago.
Long shots we love
DK Metcalf (+1400) averaged 98.5 yards per game with 8 touchdowns in the first eight games of 2020 versus just 64.4 yards and 2 TDs in the second half. A bet on the budding mega-star is a bet that new OC Shane Waldron can make the Seahawks’ offense less predictable.
Justin Jefferson (+1400) finished fourth in the NFL with 1400 receiving yards in his rookie campaign. With Adam Thielan another year older, the 22-year-old product should become the focal point of the Vikings pass game. It may also be prudent to sprinkle some cash on Bengals rookie Ja’Marr Chase (+4000), who was so dynamic at LSU that he forced Jefferson into a slot role.

Michael Thomas (+1600) led the league with 1,725 receiving yards in 2019 — more than 300 more than the next closest guy — before being hobbled by an ankle injury last year. While it’s difficult to project the post-Brees era in New Orleans, “Slant Boy” will be peppered with targets and if Jameis Winston assumes the starter’s role, his big arm could open up the field.
D.J. Moore (+2000) has increased his receiving yards totals in each of his first three seasons. Still just 24 years old, the dynasty league darling could be even better in 2021 if Sam Darnold proves to be an upgrade on Teddy Bridgewater.
