In a divided nation that can never seem to agree on much, collectively cheering against Bill Belichick and Tom Brady has become a national sport of its own.
But while it was thrilling to see Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens run the ball down the evil empire’s throat on Sunday night, oddsmakers are not viewing New England’s humbling 37-20 loss as a harbinger of things to come.
Looking at BetOnline, New England remains the overwhelming Super Bowl favorite at +275 while Baltimore’s title odds didn’t even budge from +1000. Let’s find some cases where the Week 9 results did impact teams’ title odds.

TEAMS WITH IMPROVING ODDS
San Francisco moved up to +650 despite struggling against the Cardinals on Thursday night. Things are about to get interesting for the NFL’s lone unbeaten team with a Monday-nighter versus the division-rival Seahawks and upcoming games against Packers, Ravens and Saints.
The Chiefs were somehow available at +1400 last week, but order has been restored after Harrison Butker’s last-second field goal helped Kansas City defeat Minnesota and avoid their fourth loss in five games.

With Patrick Mahomes expected back this Sunday, we’ll see if Andy Reid’s squad can build a little November momentum before a Dec. 8th showdown with the Patriots.
The Eagles sunk all the way to +2500 after a humiliating Week 7 primetime loss to the Cowboys, but two-straight convincing wins over the Bills and Bears have them back up to +1400.
Following their bye, Philadelphia will battle New England and Seattle before their schedule gets marshmallow-soft down the stretch.
TEAMS WITH DECLINING ODDS
It was a terrible Sunday for the NFC North. While we expect the Bears and Lions to find new, horrible ways to lose every week, the Packers‘ lack of offense against the Chargers was truly shocking.
Following a week of burning-hot MVP hype, Aaron Rodgers managed only 161 yards passing and a score in the 26-11 loss. Aaron Jones fared no better with only 30 yards on the ground just a week after blowing up for 226 total yards against the Chiefs.

The head-scratching outcome caused Green Bay’s title-odds to sink from +800 to +1200, but that shift was relatively minor compared to the one made on Minnesota.
The Vikings dropped from +1600 to +2500 after coming up just short against Kansas City. While Kirk Cousins turned in a solid performance (220 yards passing, 3 touchdowns, no picks), he fell to 0-9-1 as the Vikings quarterback when trailing at any point in the fourth quarter.
With all three of their losses coming on the road, Minnesota doesn’t look capable of making a Super Bowl run considering they’ll have to win at least a couple of playoff games away from home.
