After beating the Eagles, the Pittsburgh Steelers will try to build winning momentum when they visit LP Field to take on the Tennessee Titans, this Thursday at 8:20 PM ET.
Pittsburgh is at .500 after beating the Eagles last week, and despite they didn’t look completely good, there is an improvement on defense. “Our defense stood up today,” said Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons. “We really needed this win. A good team is always defined by what they do after losses”.
“I always have confidence in myself and the guys that we can do it,” said Roethlisberger after engineering his 25th career fourth-quarter comeback. “It’s good to go down. That was everybody on that drive”.
For the Titans, there are a lot of things to correct after losing against the Vikings and falling to 1-4 on the season.
“We are who we are. There’s no draft coming up. There’s no adding more players and getting new coaches,” Titans coach Mike Munchak said. “This is the group we have, and with this group we have to play much better”.
For coach Mike Tomlin, despite the record the Titans deserve a little reverence. “We just need to respect the fact that we have yet to (win on the road) this year and we have an opportunity on Thursday night,” Tomlin said.
The line has the Steelers as -4.5 favorites. Keep in mind Tennessee is 4-8 ATS in its last 12 games when playing Pittsburgh.
