The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are at the top of the favorites list to win Super Bowl 56 for the second week in a row. The club dropped to second entering Week 11 of the NFL season, but regained the spot heading into Week 12. With a 38-31 win over the Indianapolis Colts, the Bucs are still at the top moving into Week 13. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills, with a win over the Saints, improved their odds over Week 12, but dropped from third in the rankings to fourth.
The Green Bay Packers were the big movers heading into Week 13 of the NFL season. Entering Week 12, Green Bay was +1000 to win Super Bowl 56. Ahead of Week 13, the Packers are now tied with the Kansas City Chiefs at +700 and trail only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the odds.
As the 2021 NFL season nears its close and as teams attempt to tighten their grasp on a playoff spot, there has been a lot of movement in the odds regarding what team will walk out of SoFi Stadium with the Vince Lombardi Trophy at the close of Super Bowl 56.

Super Bowl 56 Odds Update
Green Bay make a move
The Green Bay Packers were underdogs heading into the team’s Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Green Bay handed the Rams a 36-28 setback in that game. With the win, Green Bay moved to 9-3, and the team made a jump up the board to win Super Bowl 56. The Packers, who are in first place in the NFC North, moved from +1000 in Week 12 to +700 heading into Week 13. Green Bay has a bye this week. The team returns to action in Week 14, when it faces the Chicago Bears, who ended a five-game losing skid with a 16-14 win over the 0-10-1 Detroit Lions.

Watch the Patriots
The New England Patriots have moved from a “sleeper” pick to a legit threat.
New England was +4000 after Week 8 when the team was 4-4. After Week 11, where the Patriots shut out the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 25-0, the team had climbed to +1200. The Patriots improved their odds to win Super Bowl 56 to +800 with a sixth straight win. New England is now first in the AFC East with an 8-4 record following a 36-13 win over the Tennessee Titans.
New England is tops in the league in point differential with a +146.

The Patriots have a very tough schedule ahead of them. The team faces Buffalo twice in their next three games. Those two games will have an enormous influence on the odds for both the Patriots and the Bills, who are currently +750 to win Super Bowl 56.
Super Bowl 56 Pick
Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Buccaneers lost two games in a row for the first time in the 2021 season in Week 8 and Week 10 (the team had a bye in Week 9), but they bounced back from the rough patch with a win over the Giants in Week 11, and the team earned a 38-31 win over the Colts in Week 12.
Tampa Bay faces the Falcons in Week 13 and then the Bills in Week 14. For now, I still have faith in Tom Brady and the Bucs to win back-to-back Super Bowls.
