Old Glory DC hosts Seattle
After losing two consecutive games in April to San Diego (11-1) and Utah (8-4), Seattle (10-2) has been dominant of late. The Seawolves have outscored their opponents by 90 points during their current four-game winning streak and sit only five points behind the first-place Legion in the West.
Old Glory DC (5-6-1) is somehow in second place the far-inferior Eastern Conference. But, with only three playoff spots available, New York (6-6) and Rugby ATL (5-6-1) could still pass them. The Washington, D.C. based team is 4-2 at home, but coming off a disappointing 29-29 tie with the last-place Toronto Arrows (1-9-2).

Seawolves favored on the road
Old Glory DC is a 5.5-point home underdog on Saturday night. The Seawolves are 5-1 on the road this season. They also have the third-best point differential (+161) in Major League Rugby. In comparison, their Round 15 opponents are at a minus-10. Still chasing down San Diego for a first-place bye, Seattle should cruise to victory and easily cover the points.

Four more games on tap
New England (10-2) is a 21.5-point home favorite over Toronto (1-9-2). Coming off a 50-3 beatdown of NOLA Gold (5-8), the Free Jacks are riding a six-game winning streak and haven’t lost since March.
They have four more victories than their closest competitor in the East and have the No. 1 seed locked down. However, the Arrows are coming off consecutive ties and played Seattle tight in Round 10. We like the Canadian squad to cover.

Houston (7-5) is a heavy 16.5-point home favorite over Chicago (1-11). The Sabercats have dropped three-in-a-row to three of the best teams in the MLR (Utah, Seattle, San Diego), but should get back on track against a Hounds team that hasn’t won in over two months.
Utah (8-4) is favored by 7.5 points at home to Rugby ATL (5-6-1). The Warriors leap-frogged Houston for third-place with a 34-28 victory over their Western Conference rivals last Saturday. Meanwhile, the Atlanta, Georgia-based outfit needs a victory to stay in the playoff chase in the East. This one should be close.
San Diego (12-1) is 12.5-point home chalk to New York (6-6). The Ironworkers barely escaped Chicago with a win last weekend. Expect them to get crushed against the first-place Legion, who are 6-0 at home and haven’t lost a game since early March.
