Widely assumed to be the best team in the Canadian Football League entering Week 3, Winnipeg had their doors blown off by British Columbia in a stunning 30-6 beatdown. While the Blue Bombers try to pick up the pieces against Montreal, the Lions head to Toronto for another battle of undefeated teams.

Lions favored on the road
British Columbia is a 1.5-point favorite on the road in Toronto in Week 4. Vernon Adams Jr. passed for 237 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in last week’s 30-6 victory over Winnipeg.
The three-time defending West Division champions turned the ball over four times against a nasty Lions defense that has permitted just 21 points and a single TD through three games.
Mathieu Betts records a hat trick of sacks.

BC to blast Argos
Toronto is unbeaten this season with victories over two winless Hamilton and Edmonton teams. The CFL’s reigning Grey Cup champions pounded the rock against the Elks in Week 3, rushing for 194 yards in their 43-25 road victory. However, Chad Kelly tossed two picks and completed just 57% of his passes.
That recipe likely won’t work this week as Kelly will be under fire against a BC defense that registered seven sacks against the Bombers. Look for the Lions to cover the points on the road and get off to a roaring 4-0 start.

Can the Bombers rebound?
Montreal is a 5.5-point road underdog to Winnipeg. The Bombers should be motivated after suffering their first home loss to an in-division team in almost five years. But, their defense has allowed the most points (88) in the West through three weeks. That’s bad news for a team about to face the 2-0 Alouettes.
Back together with Jason Maas, Cody Fajardo has recaptured his old form early in the season. The 31-year-old threw for 292 yards and two scores in a 38-12 victory over Hamilton last week. While their two W’s have come against the terrible Ti-Cats and Redbacks, we think Montreal can cover at home.
Week 3's @PFF CFL Team of the Week! Lots of @TorontoArgos this week, and a big time performance from @MTLAlouettes QB Cody Fajardo!https://t.co/9Ssfasgtyq

Battle of two winless teams
Ottawa is a 3.5-point home favorite over the Elks on Friday. The only problem is that they have dropped 13 consecutive games at TD Place. While Edmonton is 0-3 this season, they at least showed a pulse in Week 3, putting up 31 points versus the Argos.
After scoring the least points per game in the CFL (13.5) through two games, the Redblacks are turning to third-string quarterback Tyrie Adams. That should be a boon for an Elks defense that allowed 43 points last week. We’ll take Edmonton to score a minor upset and win outright (+140) in the nation’s capital.
