The Orioles will send Miguel Gonzalez to the mountain with his 5-5 record in 16-game starts, and 3.91 ERA.

“We don’t look at it like, ‘If we do this we’re successful.’ You come out here and try to win 10,” manager Buck Showalter told MLB’s official website. “We don’t do math. We don’t do percentages or anything. You post up, and you play and try to win a nine-inning game. Every day is another opportunity.”

Gonzalez last outing was a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels that involves 7.2 innings pitched, three hits and two runs allowed while striking out five players.

“That’s as good as you can see a guy pitch, especially in a hostile environment against a really good team,” Showalter said. “That’s about as sharp as I’ve seen Miggy in a while. He had everything working and everything at his disposal, and he had command of it.”

The Mariners will go with Roenis Elias, who has pitched in 20 games this season and has an 8-8 record with a 4.41 ERA.

The Baltimore Orioles are -103 in the money line to win this Sunday while the Seattle Mariners are -107.
