Because of this, the MLB betting odds are being checked on a consistent basis. With the Yankees, this team hasn’t quite lived up to expectations this year, as they were considered contenders to win the World Series. Right now, though, it’s a long shot for them to win the AL East, as the Tampa Bay Rays are in the driver’s seat to get things done. The Yankees need to turn things around as soon as possible.
Meanwhile for the Mets, they also haven’t quite lived up to the hype in the NL East, but this team is still ready to try and push for a trip to the postseason. Throughout the summer, plenty of baseball bets will be coming in for both teams. The hope is that both the Yankees and Mets can catch fire. One thing to remember for the state is that NFL betting is about to take off in New York as well, which will lead to great revenue/handle for NY. There are three teams that fans have a strong interest in, with those three being the New York Jets, New York Giants and Buffalo Bills. All three of these teams are entering the new campaign with massive expectations, especially the Jets.
It was just announced this week that they’ll be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks. This makes a ton of sense, as the Jets were able to trade for future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers this offseason. With Rodgers now in town, plus other additions in free agency and the NFL Draft, the Jets have strong NFL betting odds to win the AFC East this year. They’re surely going to be a team to watch.

With the Giants, they stunned plenty of people in Brian Daboll’s first year as head coach of the NFC East side. Quarterback Daniel Jones was able to get his career back on track, throwing for 15 touchdowns and adding seven more on the ground. With the additions of Jalin Hyatt, Darren Waller, Bobby Okereke, John Michael Schmitz, Deonte Banks and others, the G-Men are hoping to make noise once again in 2023. They’ve got a great chance of making that happen.
Last but not least, the Bills are a serious threat in the AFC. That’s always going to be the case with Josh Allen as the signal-caller for this offense. There was some worry that star wideout Stefon Diggs would be traded this offseason, but it’s looking like he’s going to stay put. The Bills are hoping to win the Super Bowl this year. With such strong hopes of doing so, this is of course going to result in plenty of bets being placed on them as well. It could be a year to remember for the Bills in 2023.
