MLB betting as a whole has been strong for Washington this season
In addition to the All-Star Game, MLB betting as a whole has been strong for Washington this season. Last year, the Mariners defied the odds and booked a trip to the playoffs for the first time since 2001. This had people fired up for what they’d be able to get done in this campaign. Unfortunately, Seattle has been quite inconsistent and they’re currently on the outside looking in for the AL Wild Card.
However, there’s still an entire second half of the season left to be played, so you know people will have a strong belief in this team to catch fire. While the Mariners don’t hold strong MLB betting odds to win the World Series – as they’ve never won it all – that doesn’t mean that they don’t have the kind of talent on offense and with their pitching to make a splash in the postseason, if they make it back in that is.
In addition to the Mariners, baseball fans in Washington also have strong interest in the other AL West sides. The Texas Rangers have been a surprise this year, while the Houston Astros are trying to repeat as the champions. Looking at the odds, the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and Houston Astros are the top three teams when it comes to potentially winning the World Series. People are dreaming of the Dodgers and Braves meeting in the NLCS. That’d be one heck of a series, especially if it were to go all seven games. For the Mariners, a trip to the ALCS would be a dream come true for countless people in the state.
